Happy 7th Work Anniversary, AFRO!!
Anniversaries are the opportunities to recollect our year gone memories and cherish them again.
It wasn’t long ago two friends decided to have their dreams come into reality by creating an organization that will go a long way into helping all and sundry. Forming AFRO aimed to bridge the gap between the African community and the general population in the Waterloo Region through orientation sessions, seminars, and cultural events. Our healthy organization started with the incorporation of core human values such as Trust, Integrity and Teamwork
Today, despite the ups and downs, we never backed down. We are currently running six programs- Mini-Me to We, Cultural Enrichment, AFRO Empowering Girls, Support Through The Generations, Black Mental Health Campaign, and last but not least, the Parent School Knowledge Initiative, which recently took off.
As we mark our 7th anniversary, AFRO would like to thank the entire Waterloo Region for inspiring us in all these years. Your satisfaction is what motivates us to thrive continuously in the community.
Congratulations on your 7th Anniversary AFRO!!
