Spoons & Mindfulness

To engage the young kids in the conversation for mental health awareness, they were made to play a fun-filled card game of Spoons (but we improvised with popsicle sticks). The kids had a blast learning how to get four cards of a kind in their hands while being mindful of their peers and if anyone had picked up a popsicle stick. This transitioned into a brief conversation about mindfulness and how we can slow down to give our full attention to the present by using our five senses.
